Hi there!
James here.
As promised, here is your direct access to the Early American Bookcase plan.
I chose this specific plan for you because it is a masterclass in clean, functional design. It uses fundamental joinery like dado grooves and rabbets. If you can master these two techniques on a project this size, you will have the skills to build almost any cabinet or shelving unit in the entire archive. It is the perfect bridge between "shop projects" and "fine furniture."

You'll need the free PDF reader called “Adobe Acrobat Reader” to view your free book.

The bookcase plan you just downloaded is just one project from the collection I am pulling from.
Since we are moving into furniture builds this month, I want to make sure you have seen the other classic "Heirloom" blueprints that complement this bookcase. If you want to fill your home with custom, handmade furniture, you will eventually want to look at:
✅ Mission Style Side Tables
✅ Classic Adirondack Chairs
✅ Solid Oak Coffee Tables
✅ Craftsman Style Bed Frames
Stop hunting for individual plans. Get the complete furniture library for life here.
Pro-Tip for this Build:
When you are assembling this bookcase, do not trust your tape measure for the shelf placement. Instead, cut a "spacer block" to the exact height of the gap between shelves. Use that block to mark your lines on both sides of the cabinet. This ensures your shelves are perfectly parallel every time.
Enjoy the build!
James
